Can I text from my existing business phone number?
Yes β€” that's the core idea. CalliText enables SMS on your existing Callifi business phone number. Customers text the same number they call, and your team sees and replies from the shared inbox. If you have a non-Callifi number, we can often enable texting on it after porting it to our platform.
Can my whole team see and reply to text conversations?
Yes. CalliText uses a shared team inbox β€” every conversation is visible to all authorized users. Anyone on the team can reply, and the customer sees it coming from the business number. No more "who texted that client?" confusion. You can access the inbox from the desktop portal or the mobile app.
Do I need a separate app or can I use my regular phone?
CalliText works through a desktop and/or a mobile app. The mobile app runs alongside your regular phone β€” you'll see business texts in the CalliText app, separate from your personal iMessage or Android messages. This keeps business and personal communication completely separate.
What are drip campaigns and text blasts?
A text blast sends one message to your entire contact list (or a segment) at once β€” great for promotions, announcements, or emergency notifications. A drip campaign sends a series of messages over time β€” for example, a follow-up sequence after a new client inquiry. Both can be scheduled in advance.
