The copper line crisis hitting NYC buildings right now

My elevator phone failed the DOB inspection. How fast can you fix it?
Same-day or next-day in most cases. We carry common elevator phone units and cellular line equipment. For a straightforward copper-to-cellular conversion, we can often have your elevator phone working and DOB-compliant within one visit. My building has 6 elevators. Can you handle all of them?
Yes. We regularly service multi-elevator buildings. Each cab gets its own phone unit and line (cellular or VoIP). We test every phone individually, document the installation, and provide you with records for your DOB file. Volume pricing is available for buildings with 4+ elevators.
Can you replace all the copper lines in my building at once?
Yes. We do building-wide copper replacement projects — elevator phones to cellular, tenant phone lines to SIP trunks or hosted VoIP, and fire alarm communicators to cellular dialers. We coordinate the cutover so nothing goes down during the transition. This is often done floor-by-floor or system-by-system over a few days.
A new tenant needs phone and internet. Can you handle the whole setup?
Yes — that's one of our most common requests from property managers. We handle the tenant's phone system, cabling to their suite, and internet coordination with the ISP. The tenant gets a working office on move-in day. You look like a building that has its act together.
We're renovating the building. Can you handle the telecom infrastructure?
Yes. We work with general contractors and architects on new construction and renovation projects. We design the telecom closet layout, specify riser cabling, plan horizontal cable runs to each suite, and pre-wire for elevator phones — all before drywall goes up. Getting the cabling right during construction is 5x cheaper than retrofitting later.
Do you offer building-wide maintenance contracts?
Yes. Our maintenance contracts cover elevator phones, tenant phone systems, cabling, and any other communication equipment in the building. One monthly invoice, one point of contact, and guaranteed response times. We also do proactive testing — we check your elevator phones quarterly so you don't find out they're dead during a DOB inspection.
